Join us at Camp Red Cedar for Showdeo Family Fun Night

FORT WAYNE, IN – Camp Red Cedar will celebrate another great summer camp season by hosting their annual Showdeo Family Fun Night, Friday, August 9 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Camp Red Cedar, 3900 Hursh Road in Fort Wayne.

Showdeo is open to the public and will feature a variety of family fun activities including:

  • Pony rides – $5.00
  • Face painting – $1.00
  • Dunk tank – $1.00
  • Karate demos
  • Games
  • Hayrides
  • Boat rides around the lake
  • Campfire
  • Horse show and more!

Admission is free, however the event is a fundraiser so there is a minimal fee for some of the activities, as indicated above. Refreshments will be available to purchase. There will also be a silent auction with items from various Fort Wa yne restaurants and businesses. Funds raised will support camper scholarships for the 2014 summer camp season.

“This is a great opportunity for the public to visit Camp Red Cedar and see what we’re all about,” said Carrie Perry, Camp Director. “Everyone is invited to tour the facility, meet our staff and campers, and participate in fun activities. It will be a great event for the entire family.”
